Sold-out performance by the Orchestra of Sound and Light on Saturday 5 May as part of the Brighton Festival 2018. Followed on Sunday 6 May by a performance of Cuckmere: A Portrait by the Orchestra of Sound and Light Quintet and 33 world premieres of new works to Cesca’s film composed and performed by 59 local GCSE and A level music students. The culmination of a 2-year Arts Council funded performance and education project. The five core OSL musicians worked with primary, GCSE and A level students in schools in Brighton, Lewes, Eastbourne, Bexhill and Hastings to create new music to film, performed by the OSL musicians with the students.
Cuckmere: A Portrait was released on CD in March 2020. CD also includes Ed Hughes: Sinfonia (2018) and Ed Hughes: Media Vita (1991)
